Before my “work at home” days, the scenario went something like this..”supervisor comes to me and says someone is on the phone for you” (I’m thinking…”uh no, I’m not supposed to be a mom or wife when I’m at work! I’m going to get my hours cut or I’ll be let go”), when I get to the phone it’s the school…my child is sick and I need to come get her ASAP! So I would go to the supervisor and tell “that person” I have to leave now and will not be here tomorrow….well, needless to say, I didn’t go back to work.
Now, I’m my own boss and supervisor, I can take care of my sick child(ren) and take care of my clients, run my household, and find my husbands socks for him!! I love being blessed as a WAHM (work from home mom) and a HS (homeschooling) mom!
So when the flu hits a WAHM, we don’t loose our jobs and we are here for our children. That’s what I call “success” and “freedom”!
Until Next Time~ Stephanie
